Little is known on the host plant of the caterpillar but Smith, Miller & Miller note of an account by Turner in Jamaica, that a larva was found inside the seedpod of
Cardiospermum sp.

It has a swift flight and will rest high in trees of
Terminalia catappa / Indian Almond Tree
Ziziphus / Cooly Plum
and on low plants like
Bidens alba var. radiata / Spanish Needles,
Jatropha gossypiifolia / Bitter cassava,
Morinda citrifolia / Mulberry; Hog Apple

Distribution
